Computing
Our computing curriculum has been developed to support children to become proficient users of technology so that they develop the knowledge and skills to thrive in the ever changing technological world. It is in-line with National Curriculum guidelines and includes coding.
Children are encouraged to use ICT across the curriculum and teachers plan for how ICT can enhance learning in a range of ways. Children have access to laptops and iPads to use in class.
The internet is a powerful tool for learning and children use it to access information for research purposes. All children are taught how to use the internet safely and we run an annual workshop for parents on safety.
