PTA - Happy Bees - Friends of HPABe
Invitation to improve your child’s time at Harris Primary Academy Beckenham
Everyone that joins our school is automatically a member of our Friends of HPABE or "Happy Bees" as we like to call them!
The happy bees are more than just a PTA to our Academy, they are an extension of our staff team. The PTA is an amazing group of 15 or so voluntary parents led by a team of hard working parents. The activities they provide for our children and the hard work they put in for fundraising makes an enormous difference to the sense of community for the students and their families. They provide an invaluable link between our families and the Academy staff. The Christmas and summer fairs (among other events) raise a lot of money for our Academy that we would otherwise not have and enable us to showcase our amazing facilities to prospective parents such as yourselves.
Without the work of the PTA we would not be able to afford the fantastic items we have here such as the activity trim trail outside in the playground, our piano and other musical instruments. The PTA also subsidise some of our trips and visits using the funds raised by events, pre-loved uniform sales, bake sales and in house children's parties like the little monsters ball - all these things help to create the very best educational experience possible for your children.
All parents, carers and interested parties are invited to support the Happy Bees and attend meetings. We want and value everyone’s ideas and opinions.
